Client:  Babybel – Three Pipe PR.


Brief: Referencing the Nike Brazilian advert featuring Ronaldo and co. come up with a an advert to help publicise the launch of 15,000 mini Babybel ball give away.


Creative impact: We took on the creative, from script writing to storyboarding, preparing for the challenge of an overnight supermarket shoot.


Results: The film currently has over 295k hits  and is being rolled out by Babybel across their global social media campaigns.

It has also been featured on Sky Sports and is in multiple publications alongside David Seamon interviews about the World Cup.

  • Title Natwest _ Space Launch

Brief: As part of the launch of The Natwest T20 Blast,  ECB and Three Pipe PR decided to launch a cricket ball into the edge of space.


Creative Impact : Working closely with the Sent Into Space team we wanted to create a film that would truly capture the ball’s journey to its peak altitude. The footage was stunning and required the relevant graphics to bring the whole film to life


Results: This has proved a dramatic success for the ECB. With over 160,000 views on youtube it has been seen globally on news channels from CNN, USA Today to Sky Sports and BBC NEWS. It was also featured on Huffington Post and The Evening Standard.

  • Title Weather Channel / You'll Know Better

Client: The Weather Channel


Brief: Conceptualize and create a series of films to raise the Weather Channel’s profile with UK audiences.


Creative: We came up with the idea of Weather- It’s Personal. This set the tone for the campaign and communicates the special place the weather has in the British psyche.


Process: We then travelled the length of the UK, interviewing people from the wilds of Scotland to the beaches of Brighton to find out what weather means to them. Shot on 5D mark 3 cameras and then animated, each film is an endearing insight into one of Britain’s favourite pastimes: discussing the weather.


Effective: You bet.  Not only did the 15 films get over 250K hits but NBC Universal used a shortened version as an advert shown in the UK during the channel’s coverage of the Olympics. The campaign was also one of ten Official Honorees in the Online Commercials category for the Webby’s 2013, chosen from 1000s of entries.

Book publishers, Macmillan, recognise the need to market their books through tantalising TV adverts, so they asked us to help.


Creative: Working in conjunction with Kin Design, Studio Tinto and sound designer Nick Ryan, we dug deep into each novel, recreating various scenarios and characters, using both CGI, animation and filming in multiple locations to bring these stories to life in original and imaginative ways. So far we’ve made six 30-second TV ads for top-selling thriller writer David Baldacci’s books including, True Blue, The Innocent, Zero Day, Sixth Man, Hell’s Corner and Deliver us from Evil. We’ve also produced trailers for Macmillan authors Jo Nesbo (Phantom) and Wilbur Smith (Those in Peril).


Impact: The ads have appeared on Sky Television and Channel 5. But they’re also on Amazon, the publisher’s website, and in the media packs sent to book reviewers.
