  • Title Race to Palm Springs / Urban Golf

Brief: Produce a teaser to promote Urban Golf’s Race to Palm Springs Tournament.

The winning prize? An all-expenses paid, once-in-a-lifetime trip to this golfing mecca.

 

Creative: We created an aspirational ‘soft sell’ mood film, shot on location in Palm Springs over five days. We filmed in the early morning and late afternoon/early evenings when the light was most atmospheric and would show off the world’s greatest golfing resort to best effect, from its stunning tree-lined fairways, rugged San Jacinto Mountains to laidback Country Club life.

 

Result: We scored a hole in one. The film appealed to Urban Golf’s members and convinced them to sign up In fact, the film was so good the California/ Palm Springs tourist board asked to use it to promote the area as a golfing destination.

Brief & Synopsis: Inspired by the Online Luxury Brand Retailer Net-A-Porter.com and shot at boutique hotel The Arch, London. This film is a response to both brands with a strong sense of narrative and fun.

Synopsis: To launch their new space at Harrods, couture house Ralph & Russo, asked us to shoot and direct a short focusing on one of their dramatic dresses: a 1920s-inspired gown, hand-sewn with 150,000 Swarovski crystals, the centrepiece of their concession at the luxury store.

 

Approach: We shot this bespoke evening gown with a variety of lenses to glorify the craftsmanship necessary to create this wearable work of art.

 

Result: Fashion bible Vogue featured the film in its article on the Ralph & Russo launch.

 

It was also broadcast as part of the Ralph & Russo in-store installation.
